One of the hardest things for us humans to do is
to change our way of thinking. We sometimes are stuck in a rut, and after some
time, that rut begins to get comfortable even as it hinders our chance to be
happy. We’re not happy with our lot, but it’s just too much trouble to
change…maybe we’re afraid to change…maybe we really rather whine than change.
When our friends and family attempt to give advice, we attack. Sound familiar?
I actually did a reading for a person who wanted more out of life, but anger, regret,
and depression made her deaf to suggestions. She did not want to change, for
whatever reason; the fear of change made her a prisoner to her unhappiness. Nothing
I said could help her. Her mind snapped shut to every chance to free herself.
Why are we so resistant to change? The angels have the answer and the solution.
Archangel Jophiel talks about Ego: We create our reality…the good and
the bad, but if our reality is one of entrapment, negative feelings, and fear
based thoughts, then we never look for the light at the end of the tunnel. We
become our own worst enemy. Something has to give, and it has to be us.
Two of Air reminds us that we are
only fooling ourselves when we are unable or unwilling to make a decision. We
become stagnant, and fear will always win the stalemate. It is easier for us to
complain than make an effort to change our ways.
Eight of Air tells us that we create
our own reality, like Archangel Jophiel mentions in Ego. We lack the confidence
to act. We picture ourselves trapped and what we put out there becomes truth.
When I tried to give a recent client suggestions on how to improve a lonely life
by investing in the act of volunteering and connecting to people, this person
refused to even do this, demanding that the world come to them.
Ten of Air reminds us that the end of
a difficult journey is within our grasp if we embrace change and expect things
to get better. If my client had tried even one of my suggestions, this client
would have experienced the joy of giving of one’s self. In the process of an
unselfish act, this client would have regained the courage they forgot they had
and, they would begin to grow in the company of like-minded unselfish souls.
Fear is an addiction, and if it cripples our living life to the fullest, then we
must overcome it.
Archangel Raziel reminds us that we are all
capable of creating our own miracles with The Magician card. GOD has given every
one of us the tools to survive in this life and to be happy. We all have fears,
but we must decide who will be the master of our life. Will I be the master of
my life, or fear? The choice is yours.
We are a sum of our decisions for sure, Marie. Thanks for sharing your insight with us. All best to you!
