Sisters Part 5, Parties, Roaches and a Dash of Tonto

The Sisters at the Academy of Natural Science

This was a busy 4th of July weekend spent with family. Good news, so far, I haven’t killed my sister Jane; I did come close to the dastardly deed during our second trip to the Laundromat. I use bleach; she doesn't.

We headed over to Philly and the Academy to say hello to my friends and to see the new exhibit, Glow. We had a ball and I got to hold my favorite bug. Yes it's ugly, but I like them and they've been here for a very long time.

The weekend was a flurry of activities: museums, picnics, fireworks, shopping, ice cream and a great movie. This past Friday, Jane, Lucy, my husband and me went to the Pop Shop for dinner. My husband is still getting accustomed to the sisters even after thirty three years of marriage. He wanted real food; we didn’t.

Banana Splits were ordered and even Dan caved in to the impulse. Bad move! If you thought I was hyper energy before, you haven’t seen me on a sugar high. We had time to kill before the movie so we headed to the Deptford Mall. As you can see, we’re still fighting off that sugar high

Dan made believe he didn’t know us.

We went to see The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger. The movie was great!!

I'll keep you all updated on the  next adventure of The Sisters
