Life with Fred & Lucy, Episode 34: Is That You?

My father and mother are partying together. Fred and Lucy may have been mortal enemies while alive, but dead they apparently (according to several respected mediums) have decided to join forces. Fred has forgiven my mother; too long a story to tell here, but the details will be in the upcoming book.

                                                            Mom and me in California

Fred and Lucy spend time visiting my house, my sister Lucy’s house and my daughter’s house. They make sure we know they are there. Whenever I'm writing an episode on “Life with Fred and Lucy”, I feel that they are there and they are watching me. Did they mind my telling stories of our family? Was mom upset with my revealing her bad driving record? I didn't know.

Recently, my daughter confirmed that Fred and Lucy were indeed aware of my stories about them. About six months ago, she was invited to a group reading by a famous California Medium. It was last minute. One of the girls scheduled to attend had fallen ill ,and  since there had to be an accurate head count before the Medium would agree to come out, ReRe's friend asked her to fill in.

Before that poor woman could even introduce herself, my father was there. He would not let any spirits through unless he spoke first. Yep, that’s the Fred I know. The medium had no choice but to let Fred speak.

He told my daughter that he’s not only with my mother, but also with wife #2 and wife#3 who we called Grandmom Mary. We loved her as if she were our own mother. Nuts, right? He's partying with all three wives. But, according to Fred, they are happy and enjoying the fact that they can spy on us whenever they want; this must be some kind of afterlife benefit for parents. ReRe is afraid I might do this to her.

He told my daughter that he loves my Fred & Lucy Stories; keep them coming. After telling ReRe some stuff that only she would know, he told her to make sure Nathan wears a helmet when he does Parkour. Yep, came right out and mentioned the sport. Just like that. Finally the Medium told Fred he would have to leave; the other spirits were getting ready to rebel. Fred left peacefully, which was a first for him.

I can hear Fred walking around the attic at night. I’ll yell up to the attic, “Hey Fred. Is that you?” My grandsons have heard him, too. My mother hangs around the first floor and sometimes I can smell her perfume. I know for sure, she’s around especially when I’m feeling sick. She pats my back while I’m trying to fall asleep.

My sister has reported incidents that happen around her house and, she’ll call out, “Is that you?”

My daughter not only has my parents dropping by, but also my deceased mother-in-law.  Eleanor has saved my youngest grandson from many a broken bone by calling out to my daughter whenever Nathan thought he could fly like Superman.

My family is very comfortable with the paranormal. We are all blessed with psychic abilities and don’t mind the extra protection from the other side. Whenever I’m at a ghost investigation, I make sure to do the binding procedures so I don’t unintentionally take someone home, but even if I did; Fred and Lucy would kick the wayward spirit out.

I’m not sure what Fred is looking for up in the attic, but I’m guessing it’s his deck of pinochle cards. I would give them to him, but I kind of feel safe with him and mom around. Do you have dead relatives visiting your home? Most people, if honest with themselves, will say they do and that they don’t mind.
See you next week with a new Fred & Lucy Episode called Shoes.

Episode Sixty-nine of Lilith's Escape

Edward was dressed in the uniform of the dead Illuminati Captain, David Brandish. He had all the proper identification and a prisoner. Scouter was dressed in his rebel camouflage outfit. Once they got closer to the Naval Base, Edward would place the handcuffs on Scouter’s wrists.

But, there was one thing he wanted to do before he left. He headed to the makeshift infirmary to say hello to a special little boy.

Rita was holding little Tommy in her arms. “How is the boy?” Edward asked, kissing Rita on her forehead. “And how is his mum?”

“Both are fine, thanks to you, Edward. Are you leaving now?”

“Yes, in a few minutes, but…may I hold him?” Edward normally kept away from children. Thinking most of them; little spoiled brats, but spending time with the rebels had changed him somehow.

“Sure, slide your hand under his head…” Rita instructed as she handed the baby to Edward.

“I’ll do my best to bring back his father,” Edward said to Rita, but his eyes were on the sleeping child in his arms.

“I know.”

Edward handed the baby back to his mother and left the room. He found Scouter talking with the toddler known as ‘Little Bit.’

“Bring me a dolly when you come back from your trip,” the child said to Scouter.

Scouter promised her that he would. The two men were led to a tunnel that led to the outside.

“Think we’ll make it there and back in one piece?” Scouter asked Edward as they began their quest.

“If we don’t, then I’ll be dying alongside a friend and comrade…” Edward knew that Scouter was fishing for encouragement, but Edward wasn’t feeling any of that at the moment.

Episode Fifty-seven of Lilith's Escape

“Go on, Edward replied.

“I recognized most of those poor souls…they lived around here and the bridge underpass. I don’t think the enemy knows our whereabouts yet, but to make sure, we should move camp tonight.”

“There are too many of you, surely we’ll be noticed if we move camp.” Edward was worried about the children.

“There are tunnels within tunnels in the subway system. Our movements will go unnoticed,” Tzaddik added.

“I won’t leave until you're at the new location,” Edward replied as the oldest of the children climbed down from atop the barrier and ran past him and the soldiers and right up to Lilith. She hugged them to her, smiling as she listened to their excited chatter.

“She's not an evil creature…don’t hold her to your standards,” Tzaddik whispered to Edward.

He found it hard to believe that anyone would mistake Lilith as anything other than cold and manipulative, but right now, Edward was seeing a different side of her as she interacted with the children…no, she wasn’t evil, but she sure as hell wasn’t good. Did he care? No, as angry as he was with her, he still loved her.

“Let’s get this circus on the road. We have a date with the naval base tomorrow,” Scouter said, and then patted Edward on the shoulder.

Interview with Brandon

I always try to promote other writers, who like me, want people to know about the book they're working on. I write about the paranormal world and so does my guest. His story is very interesting and truly frightening and I'm sure his book will be in demand when it is released. So with great pleasure, let me introduce you to Brandon Boston.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting with my readers. I guess, I'll start at the beginning.

Is this your first book?

Yes, this is my first book. I am currently working on a few others in different genres. One is a Romance Novel (I have a couple more outlined) another is a Motivational book, and of course my sequel to “Battling Demons of Darkness” which I have outlined but have not actually began. In other words, I have many projects I am currently working on, along with multiple movie scripts I am finishing as well.

Brandon, tell my readers a little about yourself?

I am the Most Passionate person you will ever meet! I have many paths that will lead to my Destiny, and each path I have been told my entire life, “You Won't make it!” I feel I was created to help prove to the world “Anything is Possible if you have enough Faith.” I grew up in a small town in Tennessee where becoming an Actor, Director, and Fighter seemed to be Impossible. I never really considered becoming an Author. English and writing were my worst two subjects in school. The funny thing is I can write anything! I have always been able to write, I just need help on the proper grammar and spelling. Even in elementary school I could write poetry without putting much effort into it. I can also take any emotion or word and create a story around it. Any music I listen to, I can create my own version of the lyrics, staying within the emotion of the performer. I am truly blessed, to be given so many gifts, in so many different fields. I will never take any of the credit, I always give that to God. My life's story could have easily been another negative statistic, but I refuse to settle on anything less than my Destiny. Now I realize I have many more paths that make up my entire Destiny. I do not want to be just another Actor, Writer, Director, or Fighter. I want to be the Best! I also feel led to become a Motivational Speaker, because my entire life I have always had people tell me I inspire them in many different ways. I wish to be a role model, not only to the youth, but to every person that has breath. With the way the word has become, we need a light that shines through the darkness. I know I can become that! I want to become the greatest at all that I do, so I can Influence the entire world in a positive way. The bigger I become, the more Impact I can have. I want people to look at me, look at where I came from, look at my story, my struggles, and follow me the entire way as I Achieve my Destiny! Because I will be a living example, that no matter what the world says, you can do anything you set your mind to, if you just believe! Nothing is Impossible to those who believe!

Tell us a little bit of the background for the book?

“Battling Demons of Darkness” is not just a story, it is my own personal journey into the world of the unknown. Every single word in the book is true. (expect certain names and identities, for privacy purposes) Honestly, if I did not experience it first hand, I might not believe it myself. But no matter how skeptical you are, you can't deny the truth when it is before you. You can say something does not exist, up until it is directly in front of your face, so close to you, that you can feel its breath. I never chose the paranormal, the paranormal chose me. My first memory Ever, was an Exorcism in Church. That could have been an isolated incident, but it wasn't. That was my first encounter with the Demonic, that would literally follow me the rest of my life. At 27 I have had hundreds of real encounters with this worlds most Sadistic Evil! My grandparents raised me, I never met my father and for most of my life my mother was never home due to her drug addiction. I was in fourth grade when the last words I ever said to my grandfather was “I hate you, I wish you were dead!” I went to sleep, not realizing at the time, just a few hours later I would watch my Grandfather pass away right before me eyes. That left me and my grandmother devastated, and not long after that, a very powerful Demonic spirit came into our home and haunted us for years! It got as bad as it could get, the demon even attempted to kill my grandmother. Due to certain events, the Demon would be driven from our home, but not from our minds. We were both terrified to speak of it, in fear that it would come back. Not until I was about 21-22 did I finally get over my fear of this demon. I realized that part of my calling is to help deliver people from demonic spirits that haunt them. I would run into the darkness, that in the past I refused to even think about it. It has 3 demonic cases I worked on, with exact notes coming from the journal I kept during the events. “Battling Demons of Darkness” is not teaching you how to become a Ghost Hunter, that serves no purpose for me. It is to remove the veil that separates our world, from the spiritual realm. I feel “Battling Demons of Darkness” can be the Greatest Haunting story ever told. This is not just a scary story, it is packed with real emotional events, that we all as humans go through everyday. When you open my book, you will experience Death, Attempted Suicide, and Depression, which is something that has consumed this world. Most importantly, you will see a child that is seemingly defeated and destined to be destroyed by the Devil, answer his calling and transform into the fearless man he was created to be. No matter your beliefs, or views on the paranormal, you will question everything you thought about the world of the unknown. In this world we have to many people that are tormented by demons and have nowhere to turn. My purpose behind this particular book, is to help give hope to the one that is hopeless, help strengthen the weak, help guide the defeated into victory.

What other works have you done?

This is my first book, but I have worked in the film Industry on a few projects. My first TV show was “Paranormal Challenge” on the Travel Channel. It was a tremendous experience, and what people do not realize I took a major step in my life by doing that show. I have always loved Fitness, and worked at multiple Fitness Centers for a total of about 7 years. I knew the Dreams I had deep down to become an Actor, and Fighter would never become a reality, as long as I stayed in my comfort zone. So I ended up quitting my job before the show, even though I knew this was just a one time deal on the travel channel. My whole point of doing it was to meet someone in the film industry that could help introduce me to the right people to give me my opportunity. Not only did I have a blast on the show working with a lot of great people. I got to meet Zak Bagans, and a few other famous names in the paranormal field. I also struck up a great friendship with Lisa Wheelous, who is a big up and comer in the film Industry. I have been blessed enough to help her with scouting multiple locations for Major TV shows, and Major Films. Which allows me to meet people, that I feel will lead to my discovery as a Major Talent. I have also appeared on the Biography Channels “My Ghost Story”, and have done extra work on the USA network, and this past summer was able to work on a Major Film in Chattanooga.

Will there be a sequel?

In my first book you will encounter most of my most difficult battles with the demonic. I say most, because it was not until November of 2012 where I faced my most difficult task, my first Exorcism on a person. This book was already completed, and in the final stages of working out all the little details. I was not really where I needed to be in my life, I seemed to be just coasting in my everyday life. I needed a wake up call, and lets just say I got one. I have studied many cases of Demonic Possession and Oppression, that was the whole reason why I entered into the field of the paranormal. I knew the day would come when I was not facing a demon possessing someones home or property, it would be possessing them. No matter who you are, or what you think you know, you can never really be prepared for a True Exorcism. There are different stages of Exorcism, and different strengthens of demons. I can say my first Exorcism was against something very strong. Hollywood does not do it justice in the Movies. The only way to understand what I am talking about, is to see it with your own eyes. But in my Sequel to “Battling Demons of Darkness” I will be sure to bring you as close to the event as I can. I can promise, that will be a True story that you will not want to miss. Because nothing is more terrifying than the truth!

What advice can you give to new writers starting out in this extremely competitive field?

I would say, believe in yourself! Throughout your lifetime you will have many people try and discourage you and hold you back from becoming who you want to be. To succeed at everything in life, you must first believe in you before anyone else will. You can accomplish anything you can Imagine, if you only believe it. But as a writer, do not get discouraged no matter what others say. If your work is something you truly believe in, it might not be easy, but you can do it, you must do it! That has to be your thinking, succeed at all cost.

Is there anything else that you would like my readers to know about your writing?

If I could say one last thing, I guess I would ask for everyone's help. I know I am destined for great things in this world, it is time we begin to see good things making headlines on the news instead of all the hate, death, and negativity that covers almost every station. I know I can help Motivate, Inspire, and changes millions of lives. Not just by this book, but with all of my dreams combined. Everyone needs a start though, and although I have been apart of some Amazing events, this is my first chance to reach the world. I hope that all who see this will go out and get a copy of “Battling Demons of Darkness” and that you will pass this message along to your friends. I want to make “Battling Demons of Darkness” the Greatest Paranormal book of All time! And with your help, I know that Dream will become a Reality. God Bless

Thank you for visiting my blog site, Brandon. I enjoyed your interview and plan on having you as a guest once more, after the book is out . It's been a pleasure and I'll be keeping my eyes open for the sequel.

Episode Fifty of Lilith's Escape

“You’ll see in the documents that I handed you, that Captain Brandish is a widower, with no surviving family for you to worry about. He’s in charge of overseeing several of the prisons behind enemy lines and he has a reputation for his brutal treatment of prisoners,” Rita told Edward.

“So…he was a monster and deserved to die, but he also had friends. What’s the cover story on how I…Captain Brandish managed to escape?” Edward asked. Lilith this whole time had remained seated and silent, which was fine with Edward. He didn’t want to divert his attention away from the facts that needed to be memorized.

“That’s where Scouter comes in. When he delivered your meal to your cell, you attacked him with a weapon that you put together. You used him as a shield to escape.” Rita then pulled open a map of Philadelphia. “This was once a Naval Base but now it’s a prison for people who fight against the power of the Illuminati.”

Edward studied the map, but it felt odd to be looking at a base that was operational back in his time, but here and now, was a place of torture and death. “Rita, how am I to find your husband and Lazarus? This isn’t a small complex.”

“With this,” she replied and handed him a small ear piece.

“How does it work?” Edward asked as Rita positioned it in his ear. “Ouch, don’t push so hard,” Edward exclaimed, thinking that Rita was pushing it past his eardrum.

“It has to go in far enough not to be seen. It will pick up  signals from the implants on Roger and my husband as soon as you’re near to their location.”

“What’s your husband’s name?” Roger asked.

“His name is Tom and you better bring him back to me.”

“It was foolish to allow yourself to become pregnant in this time of evil,” Lilith said in a smug tone from the other side of the room.

Edward had forgotten that she was there, she had been so quiet. “Haven’t you also made bad choices?” Edward asked. When Lilith didn’t reply, he returned his attention to the soldier in front of him. “I’ll do my best to bring them all home.”

Episode Forty-eight of Lilith's Escape

Fighting his anger and the blood lust, Edward demanded, “Untie me, now.”

Not totally convinced, Tzaddik waited for Lilith to give the okay and after she gave her consent, Edward was cut free. “Don’t make any quick moves,” Tzaddik warned.

Edward rubbed the back of his head and felt the golf ball size bump. He couldn't remember what happened or what he had he done. He took hold of Lilith’s wrist, but Rita shouted out, “Let go.”

“I need to see the wound,” he replied. Edward winced when he saw the damage his teeth had done to her tiny wrist. There was a large chunk missing, but luckily the skin was beginning to heal as he watched. “I never meant to hurt you,” he said to Lilith who was still unclothed and not the least embarrassed

“I know...but we need to be careful until we know for sure you can control yourself.” Turning towards the female soldier, Lilith said, “Bring him  food.”

Rita stared long and hard at Edward before saying, “Get your act together. I want my husband back.” Then she walked out of the room to fetch the food.

“Edward…” Lilith pulled his face back towards her. “Tonight, we will prepare you for surgery.” She walked over to the bed and grabbed her clothing. As she began to dress, Edward remembered that they weren’t alone.

“You don’t need to babysit me. I have it under control,” Edward told Tzaddik. But the man didn’t hear a word, his eyes were on Lilith.

Edward was doing a good job of fighting the blood lust, keeping the urge under control, but his jealousy…was another thing all together. “Get out,” he told the soldier.

Episode Forty-seven of Lilith's Escape

He couldn’t get enough of her blood, frantic, Edward bit into the flesh of her wrist to get at the warm liquid. He wanted more even though he heard her cry out for him to stop, but she sounded so far away and he was so thirsty.

“Let her go,” Tzaddik yelled out, but Edward ignored him, until something heavy hit the side of his head and all went black.

Edward heard Rita and Tzaddik talking. He tried to move but he was tied up and his head hurt like the dickens. What happened? He remembered that he was feeding...on her blood, but he had lost control…did he hurt her? He tried to focus on the room, but it spun wildly, making him dizzy. “Lilith”?

“Don’t move a muscle,” Rita ordered.

“Why would he would react this way? What went wrong?” Tzaddik asked someone. Edward heard the fear in the old man’s voice.

“Lilith?” Edward’s query was met with a swift kick to his side.

“Don’t move,” Rita warned.

“This wasn’t the first time that I fed him,” Lilith replied.

Thank God! She was alive. Edward turned his head towards the sound of her voice and called out to her. “Did I hurt you?”

Lilith and the Israeli soldier were arguing and Rita stood over him with her rifle aimed at his head. “For your sake, I hope you didn’t f_ _ _k up this mission.”

“Let me see him,” Lilith demanded. But as soon as she knelt next to Edward and touched his cheek, her sweet smell hit his nostrils and the blood lust hit, full force. “You’ll need to control your hunger, love, or they’ll kill you. Can you do this?”

Edward heard the click as Rita squeezed on the trigger. He shook his head, blinked his eyes, tried to get out of the madness he now found himself in and forced the hunger to the back recess of his mind. “I…I’ll try.”

Edward felt sick to his stomach, but he kept the hunger under control and watched as Lilith signaled to Tzaddik. The old man held a machete in his hand and as he leaned over Edward, warned, “If you try anything, I’ll kill you.”

Episode Forty-six of Lilith's Escape

Edward looked at the photo in the passport. It was the man that Lilith just recently sucked the life from. “So, how am I to get past their guards?” he asked Tzaddik.

“By using the dead man’s identity, you pretend that Scouter is your prisoner and make your way into the main headquarters in Philadelphia,”

“I look nothing like this man. I won’t fool anyone,” Edward countered.

Tzaddik pushed his chair back and stood up. “We can change your features, but we need to get you up to date on the man’s personal information.”

Edward closed the passports and threw them, the money and map on the cot. “If you’re talking plastic surgery, I won’t be ready by tomorrow.” He watched as Lilith gathered the tossed items from the bed and brought them to Tzaddik. Her nudity apparently embarrassed no one but Edward.

“Let me have a moment with him,” Lilith said to the others. It took Rita a few minutes to push her swollen body from the bed and then she and Tzaddik, left the room. “Come, sit on the chair,” Lilith instructed him.

“Why must I drink your blood?” he asked as he took his seat and she knelt before him.

She had ignored his question, but in her hand was a dagger, which had appeared from thin air. She jabbed the point of the dagger into her finger, and as her blood flowed, she repeated the process on Edward. “Drink,” she commanded and pushed her finger into his mouth. When he began to drink, she placed his finger into her mouth.

Edward drank deeply, wanting more and more of her life force, even though Lilith struggled to pull her finger from his mouth. He grabbed hold of her, pulled her into his lap and forcibly held her finger to his mouth. She used her free hand to push him away, but to no avail.

The blood lust had taken hold of Edward.

Episode Forty-three of Lilith's Escape

The prisoner sat in the only chair in the room, his arms tied behind him and his head covered by a burlap bag. Edward took notice of the bruises on his arms and bare chest. Lilith walked over to the man and pulled the cloth bag from his head. The man squinted trying to focus his swollen eyes, but when he saw who stood in front of him, his eyes widened.

“Are you here to torture me?” The prisoner tried to act brave, but Edward could smell the fear on the man.

“The people you follow are evil and the man that rules over them brings death to your kind.” Lilith spoke softly to the man.

Edward was surprised when she raised her hand and ran her fingers through the man’s thick head of hair. It was a gentle almost intimate touch and Edward felt himself clenching his teeth, but when Lilith lowered her head and kissed the prisoner, Edward made a move to stop her.

“Let her be,” the man known as Tzaddik whispered and grabbed hold of Edward’s shoulder.

Edward jerked his shoulder away from Tzaddik, but remained where he was, fuming and jealous that someone else was enjoying her touch.

“How many have they infected?” Lilith asked the prisoner while still playing with his hair.

“There were at least two hundred people infected, dissidents who dared to challenge the Illuminati, but they were released some time ago, maybe a week or more…”

“Were you part of this? Did you help infect those people?”

“Yes, I was in charge of picking the subjects that were used for the experiment. It wasn’t that hard, I got them from our prisons.”

“This didn’t bother you?” she asked him.

The prisoner challenged her with his eyes, daring her to attack him. “The madness has spread and you won’t be able to stop it.”

“I will do my best to try,” she replied.

“They’ll know that I’ve been captured.” The man struggled against the ropes that held him as she continued to play with his hair.

She let out a sigh before saying, “Yes, I guess they will, but it won’t matter for you.” She kissed him again and added, “I need to feed.” Her features began to change.

Edward watched as Lilith straddled the man. The prisoner, knowing that he was going to die, fought to dislodge the wisp of a woman from his lap, but Lilith hung on.

“Edward, if you wish to leave the room, I suggest you do it now,” Lilith called over her shoulder to Edward.

But Edward stood frozen to the spot and watched as Lilith opened her mouth and lowered her fangs to the prisoner's neck.

Episode Forty-one of Lilith's Escape

“The attack began in 2017, but it wasn’t a war. It was a global massacre,” Bradley replied.

“What happened?” Edward asked the marine.

But Lilith was impatient and called out to them, “There’s no time for chit chat, Edward. You’ll get the facts after I interrogate the prisoner.”

She and the female soldier were standing next to a doorway and although the lighting was poor, he could see how pale Lilith had become. She would need to feed and soon and he was guessing the prisoner would be the one on the menu. Jones gave a few precise taps on the door, a code and one that Edward recognized. The door was unlocked from the inside and opened by another man in uniform.

“Oh…it’s you. Are we slumming today, goddess?” the man in the Israeli uniform teased. He was in his late 50’s maybe early 60’s and where his left arm should be; the sleeve was rolled up and pinned.

“Hello Tzaddik,” Lilith replied and then kissed the soldier on the back of his remaining hand.

The man smiled and replied, “I’m glad you’re here. We saved the dirt bag for you.”

“Who is that?” Edward asked Bradley.

“He’s some type of priest…and…” Bradley was interrupted by Jones who told them to hurry. Lilith had already entered with the man known as Tzaddik and as Edward followed Bradley and Jones into the tunnel, Bradley whispered, “That old man…can kill.”

“I hope so, he’s a soldier,” Edward replied, watching as Jones secured the door.

“With his mind,” Bradley replied and then hurried after the others.

Edward glanced back at Jones and asked, “Did he say…?”

“Yep, now keep up with the others,” she replied and gestured for Edward to start walking.
